Bob Gaddis announced his intent to make the 2020 football season his last on the Columbus East sidelines.
The last 20 years of his 42-year coaching career have been spent with the Olympians. Two state titles and 17 consecutive Hoosier Hills Conference titles are just part of the legacy.
At 330-143 all-time, Gaddis, 65, is the fourth winningest on the active coach list behind only Sheridan's Larry Wright, Russ Radtke at Knox and Mooresville's Mike Gillin. His 330 wins is 6th all-time.
Gaddis spoke with GIANT fm Sports last week about the Reitz Bowl and his days as head coach at the Evansville high school ahead of Triton Central's regional appearance.
