Woman sought by Shelbyville PD in stabbing case has been arrested

A woman that police initially listed as a person of interest in a stabbing case has been arrested.

 

Amber Skyler Rasdall, 20, is charged with Battery or BBW committed with a deadly weapon.  She was taken to the Shelby County Jail.

Two people were stabbed in Shelbyville Thursday morning and now police are asking the public to help locate a person of interest.

 

Just before 7:00 am ,the Shelbyville Police Department and the Shelbyville Fire Department were dispatched to the 200 block of East Taylor Street for a report of multiple persons stabbed.  S.P.D. Patrol officers secured the scene and S.F.D. and Medic Personnel treated and transported two patients requiring emergency medical care.


S.P.D. Criminal Investigations Division Detectives and C.S.I. responded to the scene and are investigating the incident. Investigators with the Shelby County Sheriff's Department and officers with the S.P.D. Crime Suppression Unit are also assisting with the investigation.


At this time, investigators have a person of interest and are asking the public to be cautious and call 911 if the following person is observed:


Amber Skylar Rasdall is described as an African-American female, 5’ 01” tall, weighing 120 lbs., with brown hair, and brown eyes.
