Delaney Jaeger ‘DJ’ Drake, 26, of Shelbyville, passed away Monday, November 25, 2019 at MHP Medical Center.

He was born November 7, 1993 in Beech Grove, IN.

DJ is survived by his mother, Terri Drake (Del Jaeger); brother, Dylan Drake, nephews, Zane Drake, and Gavin Drake; and many special friends that became family.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Martha Drake.

DJ was a firm believer in Jesus Christ.  He attended Shelbyville Central Schools.  He enjoyed cutting hair, composing and listening to music and fishing.  DJ was very artistic.  As a child, he enjoyed playing sports.  He enjoyed spending time with his birth father, who he recently reconnected with.

Visitation will be from Noon to 3 p.m., Saturday, November 30, 2019 at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison Street, Shelbyville, IN 46176.

Funeral services will follow at 3 p.m. at the funeral home with Reverend Brandon Sutton officiating.
