Sherry Ann Price, 70, of Shelbyville, passed away Thursday, January 2, 2020 at Morristown Manor.

Born January 6, 1949 in Shelbyville, she was the daughter of Jack and Betty (Stainbrook) Headlee.  She married James R. Price on May 12, 1968 and he survives.

Other survivors include 3 children- James J. Price (wife Janet) of Shelbyville,  Lydia Chaney of Terre Haute, Dusty L. Price of Shelbyville; 4 siblings- Terry L. Crisp (husband Ron), Jerry Headlee (wife Tammy), Merry Popplewell (husband Brad), Cherry Yanzer (husband Doug), all of Shelbyville; 3 grandchildren- Alex Chaney, Marissa Perry, Bella Conover; and great grandson Theodore James

Perry.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

Mrs. Price was a lifelong resident of this area, graduated from Shelbyville High School, and earned a Bachelor's degree from Indiana State University.

She was a home maker and member of First Baptist Church.

Sherry was a gymnast at ISU and had taught gymnastics for several years.

She enjoyed playing Bingo, bowling, and spending time with her family.

Funeral services will be  1:00 pm on Monday, January 6, 2020, at Glenn E.

George & Son Funeral Home, 437 Amos Road, with Pastor Merry Popplewell

officiating.  Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may pay their respect

on Monday morning from 11:00 am until the time of the service.
