Geneva Alexander

Our dear Gigi, Geneva Alexander, went to Heaven on October 27, 2020.

Waiting for her was her husband Charles, who left us on September 6, 2010, her firstborn, Jerry, who departed this earth on April 16, 1968, her second son Jack who walked to Heaven on December 18, 2013 and her youngest son, John, who passed away on January 9,2016.

She leaves her loved ones: Jim Alexander, Sherryl Alexander, Belinda Alexander, Jeremy Alexander & Marqueda Burke, Jack Jr. & Jalyn Alexander, and Lyndsey, Jim, Blake & Will Allender.

Geneva was born 95 years ago, to George and Pansy (Hull) Straber, and lived on a farm in Osgood with her three brothers and three sisters. She married Charles Alexander on June 30, 1949. She worked for years at KCL and the local Hallmark Card Shop. Her greatest accomplishment and joy of her life was her family. She was a member of and attended Lewis Creek Baptist, Shelbyville Community Church and First Baptist Church over the years.

Our Gigi was a kind, generous, loving person who always had a twinkling smile that lit up the room. She cared for others first. She dearly loved us.

While her departure is our loss, we rejoice in the fact that she is beaming, healthy, and overjoyed to be with her Savior and family.

Graveside services at Lewis Creek Baptist will be private. Donations in her memory can be given to Lewis Creek Baptist Church and very much appreciated.

Luke 1:45  “Blessed is she who has believed that the Lord would fulfill his promises to her.”
