Andra Carol Brannon, 71, Greenfield, passed away Sunday, January 31, 2021. She was born on July 22, 1949 in Indianapolis to the late Christy and Shirley (Cooper) Alex. She graduated from Eminence High School in Eminence, IN, and then attended Indiana University where upon she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in English/History.

Andra retired in 2008 and enjoyed every minute of retirement by spending that time with family, especially the grandchildren.

She is survived by her two loving daughters: Lindsay (Wesley) Heffelmire of Greenfield and Kelsey (Jonathon) Beachler of Peru; her amazing and awesome grandchildren that called her “Nina”: Gracie Castner, Lucy Castner, Jack Lyday, Kaycee Beachler, and Jeanie Beachler; and loving siblings: Ruth Ann Burnett, Marcia (Rodney) Martin, Linda Alex, Gary (Debbie) Alex, and Tom Alex.

Andra was preceded in death by her parents and sister-in-law, Denise Alex.

Visitation will be on Friday, February 5, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield, IN. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, c/o Brain Cancer Research, 5635 W. 96th St., Indianapolis, IN 46278.
