Richard Allen "Rick" Comstock, 65, of Shelbyville, passed away Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at

MHP Medical Center in Shelbyville.

Born November 13, 1955 in Shelby County, he was the son of George Comstock and Mary

(Shelton) Comstock. He married Angela (Toll) Comstock on July 28, 2004 and she survives.

Other survivors include 3 daughters - Jennifer Kummer (husband Shawn) of Franklin, Jodi Rawley

(husband Mark) of Shelbyville, Lindsey Toll Burk (husband Ryan) of Union City, IN; brother-

Ronny Comstock (wife Linda) of Haughton, Louisiana, sister- Cora Briggs of Elkhart; 2 sisters-

in-law Flo Comstock of Shelbyville and Janet Comstock of Carrollton; 8 grandchildren- Michael

Kummer, Elizabeth Kummer, Skyann Wainscott York (husband Tommy), Josh Wainscott, Mack

Wainscott (companion Gabby), Hadley Burk, Harper Burk, Reid Burk; and 9 great-grand children.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers- Mike & Danny and sister Mary.

Rick lived in this area most of his lifetime and was employed with Eli Lilly, retiring after 20 years of service. He graduated

from Southwestern High School in 1974 and was a member of First Church of the Nazarene. Rick was

an avid Coca Cola collector, and was a friend to all. He enjoyed bird watching, and listening to Gaither

music. He dearly loved his family and grandchildren and enjoyed the time he was able to spend with them.

Funeral services will be 5:00pm. Sunday, April 18, 2021 at Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home, 437 Amos

Rd. with Pastor Steve Bohall and Rev. Bruce Banister officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends

may call on Sunday from 3:00pm until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions can be made to Shelby Co. Cancer Association in care of the funeral home.
