Billy Wayne Welch, 25, of Shelbyville, passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2021 in Indianapolis.

He was born October 3, 1995 in Indianapolis to Billy J. Welch and Angel (Pranger) Arnold.

Billy attended Southport High School.  He was a construction worker. 

His greatest joy was being a father and spending time with his loved ones. He enjoyed go-carting and working on cars with his father and his son. He loved to listen to music.

Billy is survived by his son, Jaxson McNeill, his father, Billy Welch (Misty), his mother, Angel Arnold (Charles Saunders), his sisters, Brandi Stephens, Ella Welch, and Evelyn Welch, his brothers, Terry Welch and Jonathan Welch, his step-brother, Dylan Matkins, his nephews, Braylen Cook, and Liam Welch, and several aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his grandma, Debbie Johnson, his brother, Dalton Welch, and his grandfathers, Billy Morris and Alan Johnson.

Visitation will be from Noon to 2 p.m., Friday, May 14, 2021 at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison Street, Shelbyville, IN 46176.

A Celebration of Life will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Chaplain Kevin Klassen officiating.

Funeral Directors, Greg Parks, Sheila Parks, and Stuart Parks are honored to serve Billy’s family.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Billy Wayne Welch funeral fund in care of Murphy-Parks Funeral Services.
