Clarence Johnson, age 89, of Willow Branch, passed away Thursday, June 10, 2021, at his home. He was born July 6, 1931, in Jabez, Kentucky to the late Virgil and Fannie (McClendon) Johnson. He married Shirley Oakes on June 4, 1953 and was married 58 years when Shirley passed away in 2010.

Clarence was a member of Kennard Baptist Church and a long-time farmer. Prior to his retirement in 1990, he worked 38 years for General Motors, Anderson, Indiana. After retirement, Clarence and his loving wife Shirley enjoyed travelling the United States and abroad.

He is survived by his sons: Rick (Charla) Johnson of Willow Branch and Gary (Vicki) Johnson of Nashville, TN; 4 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings; and loving wife, Shirley Johnson.

The funeral service will be at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, June, 16, 2021 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield, Indiana 46140. Friends may call 11:00 am until the time of service. Burial immediately following at Park Cemetery, Greenfield.
