Charles Nicholas “Nick” Snapp, 67, of Shelbyville passed away Saturday, August 21, 2021, at his home.

He was born October 12, 1953, in Richmond, the son of Charles Henry Snapp and Vivian Eileen (Logan) Lee.

Nick is survived by his brothers, Robert Lee and wife, Rena, of Shelbyville, and Michael Snapp of Dallas, Texas; several nieces and nephews including, Jeremiah Lee and wife, Stephanie, Jonathan Lee and Joshua Lee, all of Terre Haute; Michelle Snapp and Michael Snapp; and several great-nieces and great-nephews including, Pierce Lee and Isaac Lee, of Terre Haute.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Scott Lee.

Nick graduated in 1971 from Shelbyville High School.

He was a member of Shelbyville Evangelical Methodist Church.

Nick formerly worked as a printer, retiring with over 35 years of service.

He enjoyed working with flowers and cooking for his neighbors.

Gathering of friends will be from 5 to 6 p.m. Friday, August 27, 2021, at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.

A Celebration of Nick’s life will be at 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with Pastor Tony Meads officiating.
