Peggy Ann (Brawner) Halliburton Wade, age 85 of Greenfield, passed away September 8, 2021, at Hancock Health. She was born January 9, 1936, in Macon County, Tennessee to the late John and Mary Neal (Meador) Brawner.
Prior to her retirement, Peggy worked for Linder’s Ice Cream in the administration department. She was a long-time member of Bethel Baptist Church. Peggy loved to travel and shop. Above all she loved time spent with family and friends.
She is survived by her children, Gary Halliburton, Janice (Mike) Inman, and Kimberly (Ronnie) Singleton; Grandchildren, Damian Inman, Michael (Jordan) Halliburton, Tyler Singleton, and Taylor Singleton; great grandchild, Layla Halliburton; siblings, Jo Nell Wilburn, Mary Dee (Jerry) Smith, Judy (Jimmy) Boyd, Pam (K.C.) Henry; brothers-in-law, Don Rush and Darrel Boyd; Sister-in-law, Shirley Brawner; and several nieces and nephews.
Peggy is preceded in death by her parents mentioned above; daughter, Phyllis Halliburton; husband, German Halliburton; husband Charles Wade; and siblings, Shirley Rush, Doyle Brawner, Aaron Brawner, Randall Brawner, Jackie Brawner, Junior Brawner, Maggie Boyd and Jean Tracy.

Burial immediately following at New Palestine Cemetery.
