Robert "Bob" McDonald, 88, of Greenfield

Robert “Bob” McDonald, age 88 of Greenfield passed away Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at Springhurst Health Campus.

He was born December 29, 1932, in Indianapolis to the late Raymond and Elizabeth (McFarland) McDonald.
Bob was a 1951 graduate of Thomas C. Howe High School. He married Lois (Ferguson) on August 29, 1952. Together they made home in Greenfield and raised their family. Bob was an owner of many Chicago’s Pizza franchises dating back to 1980.
Bob enjoyed playing golf and loved Colts Football. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed his trips to Canada. Always civic minded with a giving heart, Bob served on boards for many organizations including, Meals on Wheels of Hancock County, The Boys and Girls Club, and the local DARE program. He was a long-time member of the Riley Wranglers square dance club with his wife Lois. Above all, Bob loved his family and enjoyed time spent with them.
He is survived by his children, Steve (Lisa) McDonald, Mark (Karen) McDonald, Jeannette Colip and Diana Parker; grandchildren, Candace (Michelle) Sexton, Keely (Brandon) Butrum, E.J. Parker, Christopher (Lauren) Colip, Kaitlyn McDonald, Emily (Brett) Peterson; and great grandchildren, Leila, Lydia, Molly, Kate, Baxter, Samuel, Peyton, and Ava.
He is preceded in death by his parents, listed above, wife, Lois in March 2021 and son-in-law, Dean Parker.
Friends may call 2:00-6:00 pm, Sunday, September 19, 2021, at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield, Indiana 46140.

Funeral service 10:00 am Monday at the funeral home with Pastor David Woods officiating.

Entombment immediately following the service at Washington Park East Cemetery.
