David James Beyer, 20, of Waldron

David James Beyer, 20, of Waldron, passed away Tuesday, November 1, 2021 at his residence.

 

Born June 5, 2001 in Shelbyville, he was the son of Andy Beyer and Heather (Kerr) Beyer. Survivors  include his parents of Waldron; a brother- Kevin Cain of Shelbyville, sister- Teresa Hedrick (Tanner) of Rushville; grandparents- Mike & Karen Kerr of Manilla; Aunts & Uncles- Christina & Zac Johnson of Shelbyville, Joe & Barb Beyer of Plainfield, Paul & Angie Beyer of Shelbyville, Laurel & Tim Lee

of Pleasant View, Pete & Easter Beyer of Greensburg, Maria  McAllister of Shelbyville, Donnella & Tony Linville of Shelbyville; niece- Claire Hedrick of Rushville and several cousins.

 

He was preceded in death by his brother Shiloh, grandparents Joe & Donna Belle Beyer, great grandparents Jim & Norma Lou Kerr, Great Aunt & Uncle Bernard & Roberta Beyer, Great Uncle Terry Miller, Aunts Jackie Wethington, Victoria Vaughn and Uncle Michael McAllister.

 

David had lived in this area his entire lifetime and graduated from Waldron High School in 2020,.He also attended Ivy Tech,  anticipating an Associated Degree next summer in robotics. He was a member of St. Vincent Catholic Church where he served as alter server and usher, and a member of Waldron Chapter of FFA where he held positions ofVice president and president, and was also an active member of St. Joseph Youth Group.

 

David enjoyed Lego's, dot to dot books, and video games, but most of all he loved spending time with his family. He was an extremely caring and loving soul, who always wanted to  try and help everyone with anything they might need. He had a kind heart and always tried to be friends with everyone.

 

Funeral services will be, 11:00 am, Friday, November 5, 2021 at St. Vincent Catholic Church, 4218 E. Michigan Rd., with Rev. Mike Keucher officiating.

 

Burial will be held at St. Vincent Catholic Cemetery.

 

Friends may call on Thursday, November 4, 2021 from 4:00-8:00 pm at Glenn

E. George & Son Funeral Home, 437 Amos Rd. Rosary will be recited at 3:30 pm on Thursday afternoon.

 

Memorial contributions can be made to Waldron FFA or Epilepsy Foundation of Indiana, in care of the funeral home.
