Connie Marie Bright, 79, of Shelbyville, passed away Thursday, December 23, 2021 at St. Francis Hospital.

Born August 7, 1942 in Shelbyville, she was the daughter of Arthur Russell Comstock & Geneva Mae (Mays) Comstock.

She married Donald G. Bright on March 26, 1977 and he preceded her in 2013.

Survivors include daughter- Katrina Hall of Shelbyville; grandchildren-

Wendell Stewart, Nathan Stewart; 6 great grand children- Brayden, Mason,

Leila, Kaydon, Joel, Kaylynn Stewart; she is also survived by many 

nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband,

son Gary Bright, 4 sisters- Carolyn Walton, Barbara Rhoades, Darlene Geary,

Lisa Tucker and brother Jonathan Comstock.

Connie had lived in this area her entire lifetime and graduated from Shelbyville

High School.

She was employed at Cinch Manufacturing as a parts manufacturer and also in the cafeteria for Shelbyville Central Schools. Connie also worked as a 

seamstress for many years. Connie loved get togethers with her family and friends,  playing cards, and crocheting. She loved to go on trips, shopping flea markets, sight seeing  and stopping by historical sights along the way. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 1:00 pm, Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home, 437 Amos Rd.

Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.

Friends may call on Wednesday from 11:00 am until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Memorial donations can be made to the Salvation Army in care of the funeral home.
