Charles Lee Willis, 50, of Shelbyville

Charles Lee Willis, 50, of Shelbyville, passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at his residence.

 

He was born September 18, 1971 in Rushville to John T. Willis and Tanzy (Anderson) Reble.

 

Charles married Melissa Lea (Hickman) Willis on February 14, 2011 and she survives.

 

He is also survived by his step-dad, Timothy Reble, step-son, Andy Stover, step-daughter, Cheyenne Stover, sons, Rayden Christner, Zackary Pyles, and Mason Karnes, sisters, Thelma Williams, Bertha Dewig (Darrell), and Christina Miller (James), brother, John Willis, half-brothers, Troy Willis and Tommy Willis, aunts, Rose Stoneking, Rebecca Redd, and Rena Bennett, along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

  

He was preceded in death by his parents, his uncle, Mike Stoneking, and his grandparents, Albert and Beulah Anderson.

 

Charles loved collecting Dale Earnhart memorabilia, and also Eagle and Wolf memorabilia.

 

He was a homebody and cherished the times he spent with his wife and family.  When he was healthier, Charles was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

 

Visitation will be Saturday, June 11, 2022 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison Street, Shelbyville, IN 46176.

 

Funeral services will follow at 5 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Ted Hagel officiating.

 

Funeral Directors, Greg Parks, Sheila Parks, and Stuart Parks are honored to serve Charles’ family.
