Paulette McDonald, 75, of St. Paul, passed away Monday, October 3, 2022 at

Decatur County Memorial Hospital.

Born July 29, 1947 in Decatur County, she was the daughter of George V. Scudder

and Lena Fay (Harcourt) Scudder.  She married Wilson S. "Beanie" McDonald Jr.

on July 27, 1991 and he survives.

Other survivors include children- Jolie V. Brown (wife Brandy) of Flat Rock, Paula

(Brown) Kehl of Shelbyville, Stan McDonald (wife Pam) of Bargersville, Robert

McDonald of Indianapolis, Amy McDonald of Franklin, Chris McDonald (wife Kristen) of Shelbyville; a sister Helen Hudson of Ferdinand Indiana: 14 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and 6 brothers & sisters.

Mrs. McDonald was a lifelong resident of this area, and graduated from St. Paul High School.  She had been apartment manager at Village Square Apartments for several years, and had been a custodian for Shelbyville Central Schools for 9 years, and had  also been a clerk at Ace Hardware for 10 years.  She was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church.  

Paulette enjoyed baking and cooking, gardening and canning, playing Bingo and 

bowling.  She loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be 2:00 pm on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at Mt. Pisgah

Baptist Church, 3718 E. Blue Ridge Road, with Pastor Robb Barlow officiating.

Friends may call on Saturday morning from 12:00 Noon until the time of the service, at the church.

Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Association, in care of  the funeral home.
