Roberta Sue Tresslar, 70, of Needham

Roberta Sue Tresslar, 70, of Needham, passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2022.

She was born June 17, 1952, in Indianapolis, the daughter of Raymond and Marjorie (Dillman) Crum.  On May 6, 1972, she married her husband of 50 years, Marcus Wayne Tresslar, and he survives.

In addition to Marcus, Roberta is survived by her son, Eric Ryan Tresslar and wife, Britney, of Fairland; daughter, Michelle Lynn Robey and husband, Brian, of Needham; brother, Bruce Crum and wife, Diana, of Fairland; sister, Beverly Havely and husband, Dennis, of Shelbyville; father-in-law and mother-in-law, John and Katherine Tresslar of Fairland; brother-in-law, Kim Tresslar of Boggstown; grandchildren, Wyatt Robey, Emma Robey, Taytem Robey, Hannah Tresslar and Kiersten Tresslar; and several  nieces and nephews.

Roberta was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Georgeanna Wheatley; and sister-in-law, Susan Tresslar.

She graduated in 1970 from Triton Central High School.

Roberta attended Boggstown Presbyterian Church.

She retired in 2010, as a customer service representative in the printing industry, with over 30 years of service.

Roberta enjoyed being a member of the Johnson County WOW Group. 

She also enjoyed going to the casino and making barn quilts.

Roberta loved her family and cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren.

Services have been entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.
