Paula A. Hilderbrand, 69, of Shelbyville, passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at her residence.

Born April 5, 1953 in Shelbyville, she was the daughter of Clarence Smith & Dorothy (Weakley) Smith. She married Harold M. Hilderbrand on March 9, 1971 and he survives.

Other survivors include 2 daughters- Dawn M. Barnes (John) of Flat Rock and Mandy Young (fiance Josh Kemp) of Shelbyville; one sister; 4 grandchildren- Heather Barnes, Drew Wainscott, Tyler Ogden and Amelia Young; and 2 great-grandchildren Bentley & Xavier. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Mrs. Hilderbrand was a lifetime resident of this area and a homemaker. She attended Shelbyville High School and was a member of Shelby County Cancer Society Support Group. Paula was always on the go, shopping and sightseeing, and loved working with flowers.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00am, Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home, 437 Amos Rd. with Tom Sosbe officiating. Friends may call on Tuesday morning from 9:00 am until the time of the service. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery at a later date.
