Loren Curtis Lawhorn, 52, Greenfield, passed away Monday, January 23, 2023.

Loren was born on March 2, 1970, in Columbus, Indiana, to Billy Lawhorn and Alice Ann Ash. He is a 1990 graduate of Columbus High School.

Loren loved the Lord and found great joy in ministering. He oversaw ministry at Kairos Prison Ministries in Indianapolis. In addition to ministry, Loren found comfort in staying at home and reflecting on his beautiful family. Loren attended Mt. Calvary Free Will Baptist Church in Indianapolis.

Loren is survived by his children: Katelynn (Jacob) Behrman, Layla Lawhorn, Lilliana Lawhorn, Khloe Lawhorn, and Lazuli Lawhorn; siblings: Alexia Whedon, Terrance Ash, and Kelly Music; many cousins; his church family; and the mother of his children, Kimberly Lawhorn.

Loren was preceded in death by his parents and aunt, Ramona Marcum.

Stillinger Family Funeral Home, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield, has been honored to assist the Lawhorn family.

At this time, there will not be any visitation nor funeral.

A Celebration of Life service will be held soon.
