John D. Hart passed away at 77 in his home in Greenfield, surrounded by his loving family. 

He was survived by his companion Brenda Hart, daughter, Summer (David) Bowling, son, Dan (Jami) Hart, 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. 

John survived in the US Army from 1966-1968.

He was a welder, fabricator and auto mechanic.  He retired from Waste Management/Republic as a welder.

He was a member of Ingalls and Fortville Volunteer Fire Department for many years.

He has been involved with the American Legion Post 391 and Amvets Post 26.

He enjoyed fishing, golfing, working on cars, drinking cold beer and giving his kids as much crap as possible. He had many friends and family that will miss him greatly.

Celebration of life will be at the American Legion Post 391 at a later date.

Services have been entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 124 E. North St. in Morristown.
