Chana Marie Marshall, 46, of Shelbyville, passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2023, at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

She was born May 4, 1977, in Indianapolis.

Chana is survived by her mother, Italia Ann (McMahel) Huntington and husband, Bruce, of Shelbyville; father, Robert DeVault of Greenwood; daughter, Rylann Marshall of Shelbyville; and ex-husband, Bruce Marshall.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Roy and Frances DeVault; and maternal grandparents, Berdie (McMahel) Senn and Charles Edward Senn.

She attended Rushville Consolidated High School and was formerly a cosmetologist.

Private graveside services were held at Winchester Cemetery in Shelby County, with Sister Joan Miller officiating.

Services have been entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.
