Scott H. Foster, 60, of Shelbyville, passed away Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at St. Francis Hospital.

He was born November 23, 1962 in Franklin, IN. to Hubert Foster and Meritta (Bennett) Kennard.

Scott was an EVS Tech at Major Hospital.

Scott loved listening to music and playing bass guitar for Honky Tonk Heros for many years.  He also had a passion for cooking.  Scott enjoyed being outdoors and drinking beers in the sun especially with his family and close friends.

  Scott is survived by his sons, Derek (wife, Rachel) Foster, Johnny (wife, Holly) Foster; daughter, Jessica (significant other, Steven); grandchildren, Derek, Cameron, Brooklynn, Kellen, Piper; girlfriend, Cheryl Weinantz; sister, Carolyn (husband, Fenton) Tungett; brother, Steve (wife, Tammy); sister, Shannon (husband, Mike) Warfield; sister, Billie Stearns; brother, Troy (wife, Reba) Kennard; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be Monday August 28, 2023 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison Street, Shelbyville, IN 46176.

Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. at funeral home with Teresa Reynolds officiating.   

Burial will be in Miller Cemetery.
