Barbara Campbell, 83, of Shelbyville, passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at Waldron Health Care.

She was born June 29, 1940 in Shelbyville, IN. to William Campbell and Fern (Poe) Campbell.

Barbara worked in retail at the former Jester’s and J.C. Penney’s.  She retired from Krieg Brothers in Indianapolis.

Barbara was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church in Indianapolis for 46 years where she served as National Delegate in 1976 for the Boston Conference.

Barbara is survived by her niece, Beverly Clary; nephew, Dan Clary; great-nieces, Ashley Clary, Kathlene Clary, Kinley Clary, Dannie Clary, Julie Remiez.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Albert Campbell, Earl Campbell, George Campbell, Rolland Campbell, Wayne Campbell; sisters, Louise Gaines, Edna Clary, Bernice Coste, Mary Campbell.

Visitation will be Monday September 25, 2023 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison Street, Shelbyville, IN 46176.

Funeral services will follow at 5 p.m. at funeral home.

Burial will be in Whispering Hope Cemetery.
