Bonnie Jean Bryant

On Wednesday, October 4, 2023, Bonnie Jean Bryant went home to her Heavenly Father. She spent her final days surrounded by her family and friends. She was born in Shelbyville, Indiana on May 20, 1931, to Woodrow and Alberta (Crouch) Craig.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Bryant, and a sister, Shirley (Metz) Tucker. She was also preceded in death by former husbands Herbert Alexander and James Coleman, with whom she raised her four children.

She is survived by her children; Shannon (David) Moss, Rick (Lisa) Alexander, Scott (Kelly) Alexander, and Penny (David) Graham, as well as several stepchildren, 16 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, and a sister, Sandra Smith.

She was a gifted artist and leaves behind many beautiful paintings. She also enjoyed traveling the world and entertaining at home. She loved playing cards and games and baking for her friends and family.

She held several jobs in her lifetime, but none as special to her as the opportunity to be "Nana" to generations of little people. She provided childcare to many who have remained a part of her extended family.

We will celebrate her life with a visitation at Town & Country Christian Church, 2133 S. Tucker Rd., Shelbyville, IN 46176, from 10 AM to noon on Saturday October 14, 2023. The service will be conducted by Pastor Philip Farnsley immediately following visitation. A brief graveside service will follow.  In honor of her lifelong love of children, memorial contributions can be made to Town & Country's child care ministry.

Funeral Directors, Greg Parks, Sheila Parks, Stuart Parks, and Darin Schutt are honored to serve Bonnie’s family.
