Jerry M. Hurst, 87, of Manilla, passed away, Monday, November 13, 2023, at Ashford Place Health Campus in Shelbyville,

She was born October 19, 1936, in Billingsville, the daughter of Robert and Lorraine (Hammit) Beaver.  On September 22, 1956, she married her husband of 67 years, Allen Hurst, and he survives.

In addition to Allen, Jerry is survived by her daughter, Deborah Hurst Fudge and husband, Tony, of Rushville; son, Dale Hurst of Blue Ridge; brother, Larry Beaver and wife, Patty, of Philadelphia; grandchildren, Kendall Manlief, Michael Fudge, Shaun Fudge and Maggie Fudge; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Marlin Beaver.

Jerry was a member of Moscow Christian Church.

She was an excellent seamstress and lovingly made many items for her family to enjoy.

Jerry enjoyed working jigsaw puzzles.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 pm, Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.

Funeral services will be at 10 am, Thursday, November 16, 2023, at the funeral home.

Interment will be at Manilla Cemetery.
