Courtney Ann Wester, 44, of Rockport, passed away Friday, November 17, 2023 at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital.

She was born October 31, 1979 in Evansville, IN. to David White and Jackie (Thompson) Lamp.

Courtney attended Castle High School in Newburgh.

Courtney was a caregiver at heart.  She loved to cook and bake for her family.  Making memories and spending time with her family was the most important to her.  She was an animal lover and had a love for rescuing English Bulldogs.  Courtney enjoyed going on rides in her jeep with her husband and watching hallmark movies.  Courtney was a teachers aide for almost 13 years at Boonville Middle School.  More recently, she was a phone tech with Warrick Vet Clinic.

She married Kevin Wester on December 19, 1998 and they spent 29 loving years together with 24 of those years married and he survives.

Courtney is also survived by her mother and step-father, Jackie (Jim III) Lamp; her father; her son, Hayden Wester; her brother, Todd Stephens; several nieces and nephews, and a host of extended family and in-laws.

She was preceded in death by father-in-law, George Wester; maternal grandparents, Jack and Ruth Thompson; paternal grandparents, James and Martha White and James Jr. and Jeanette Lamp..

A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, December 9, 2023 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Chandler Community Center, 231 Chandler Community Center Drive, Chandler, IN. 47610.
