Timothy Wayne Fisher, 67, of Shelbyville, passed away Thursday, November 30, 2023 at MHP Medical Center.

He was born July 17, 1956 in Shelbyville, IN. to Wayne Earl Fisher and Bonnie Jean (Walton) Fisher.

Timothy graduated in the Class of 1977 from Shelbyville High School.

He was a member of First Baptist Church.  Tim worked at Shares all his life.  He was among the first people to be employed there and spent over 40 years with the company.  Tim loved to play sports and excelled with the Shelby County Special Olympics for many years.  He also had a love for trains and he spent a lot of time admiring the trains that passed through Shelbyville when he was growing up.  Tim was a believer in Jesus Christ and enjoyed having gospel music playing.  His family will cherish his memory as he is now sitting at the right hand of Our Father.

Tim is survived by his brothers, Larry Fisher and Dan (wife, Marsha) Fisher; his nieces and nephews, Travis (wife, Stephanie) Fisher, Ashley Fisher, Gray Morace and Chase (wife, Kody) Morace; and 12 great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be Sunday, December 3, 2023 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. as well as Monday, December 4, 2023 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison Street, Shelbyville, IN 46176.

Funeral services will follow Monday, December 4, 2023 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Merry Popplewell officiating.

Burial will be in Miller Cemetery.
