Sharron Sue Ridgway, 80, of Shelbyville, passed away Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at her residence.

Born September 10, 1943 in Miami, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of  Jess Marlow and Ethel (Dial) Marlow.  She married James Ridgway in 1967 and he preceded her in 1975.

Survivors include a daughter Paula Earle of Shelbyville; 2 grandchildren- Sheila Earle and Miranda Earle, both of Shelbyville; and 3 great grandchildren- KayleeAnna, Bryden, & Alayna

Earle.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her spouse, a brother JC Marlow, 3 sisters- Gloria Marlow Carpenter, Shirley Enwiller, Betty Milller, and son-in-law Eddie Earle.

Mrs. Ridgway had lived in this area for 19 years, after moving from New Mexico.  She graduated  from Sandia High School in New Mexico, and attended Apostolic Tabernacle here in town, and had attended Calvary Apostolic Church in Roswell, New Mexico.  She was a home maker.

Sharron enjoyed reading, and working word search puzzles.  She loved Mexican food, cookies, and ice cream.

Funeral services will be 1:00 pm on Thursday, December 7, 2023 at Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home, 437 Amos Road, with Pastor Daniel McDonald officiating. 

Burial will be in Miller Cemetery. 

Friends may call on Thursday morning, from 11:00 am until the time of the service.

Memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, in care of the funeral home.
