Johnathan L. Bellows, 42, of Shelbyville, passed away Wednesday December 13, 2023 at MHP Medical Center.

He was born August 21, 1981 in Conrow, TX to Robert D. Bellows and Christine Lovitt.

Johnathan enjoyed being a stay at home dad and loved taking care of his children.  His favorite times were spent with his children and his family.  Once the kids started getting older he gained interest in doing more odd jobs and became skilled at the trade of roofing.  Johnathan also had a love for music, drawing and even origami.

Johnathan is survived by his mother; his son, Jaylin Bellows; his daughter, Caitlyn Bellows; his sister, Jennifer Bellows; his nephews, Collin Bellows and Grayson Bellows; his niece, Madison Bellows, former life partner and mother of his children, Shelly Asher; his brother-in-law, Damon Asher; his sister-in-law, Sharon Hankins; and his close friend, Jeff Crisman.

He was preceded in death by his father, his twin brother, Jeremy Bellows and his grandparents, Joy and Kenny Lovitt.
