The Butler men's basketball team has paused all activities following an initial positive coronavirus test result among its Tier 1 personnel, which includes student-athletes, coaches, and certain support staff.

The individual is not displaying symptoms and a confirmation test will be conducted. Those in close contact with the individual have been instructed to quarantine.

The positive test result was collected Wednesday night after the Bulldogs' season-opening win over Western Michigan.

Due to the positive test, Sunday's game against Eastern Illinois has been postponed. A makeup date has not yet been announced.
