Triton Central's Faust, Waldron's Larrison selected HBCA All-District

The Hoosier Basketball Coaches Association honored 42 girls basketball players from southern Indiana as All-District performers.

HBCA member coaches vote on the top senior players. The top 10 vote getters from each of the four districts, including ties, were selected All-District.

Shelby County is part of District 3 and Triton Central senior Olivia Faust and Waldron senior Bella Larrison were two of the 10 players selected to represent the district.

Also selected All-District in District 3 were Jac-Cen-Del’s Annabelle Williams, Franklin’s Ashlyn Traylor and Kuryn Brunson, Columbus East’s Harley Gant and Koryn Greiwe, East Central’s Hope Fox, Columbus North’s Kylah Lawson and Jennings County’s Lily Ernstes.

The District 1 selections were Washington’s Alaina Thorne, Jesse Ledgerwood and Kencia Levasseur, Bloomington North’s Amya Mayes, Vincennes Lincoln’s Chloe Cardinal and Dani Kroeger, Sullivan’s Delainey Shorter and Gracie Shorter, North Knox’s Graycie Poe, and Vincennes Rivet’s Maddisyn Halter and Meredith Weiss.

In District 2, those honored were Forest Park’s Ali Welp, Jasper’s Aspen Sermersheim, Princeton’s Cortney Dove, Heritage Hills’ Hadley Lytton, Evansville North’s Jaidn Green, Kaliah Neighbors and Kaylee Martin, Castle’s Jordan Coon and Natalie Niehaus, and Tecumseh’s Kaybree Oxley.

District 4’s selections were Salem’s Abigail Ratts, Macie Tomlinson and Natalie Noel, Charlestown’s Demaria King, North Harrison’s Dianna Burgher, Silver Creek’s Emme Rooney, Kynidi Mason Striverson and Sydney Sierota, Floyd Central’s Keegan Kaiser, Crawford County’s Sarah Stutzman and Madison’s Taylor Lynch.
