Two new top-ranked teams in this week's AP boys basketball poll

Gary 21st Century, Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian, NorthWood and Chesterton are the top-ranked teams in this week’s Associated Press boys basketball state poll.

Gary 21st Century (11-2) and No. 2 Edinburgh (12-1) jumped over previous No. 1 North Daviess (14-2) in the Class A poll.

Barr-Reeve (10-6) is No. 4 ahead of Loogootee (12-4), Bloomfield (13-3), Indianapolis Lutheran (10-3), Indianapolis Tindley (9-5), Orleans (12-2) and Triton (11-3).

Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian (13-2) rose two spots to No. 1 in the Class 2A poll.

Monroe Central (13-0) is No. 2 with Central Noble (15-1) falling from the top spot to No. 3.

Eastside (16-1) is No. 4 with Linton-Stockton (14-2), Carroll (Flora) (12-0), Lake Station (13-0), Clinton Prairie (13-2), South Spencer (10-2) and Wapahani (12-3) rounding out the top 10.

NorthWood (15-1) stayed on top of the Class 3A poll for another week. John Glenn (16-0) is No. 2 with Mishawka Marian (12-3), Leo (9-2), Sullivan (14-1), Indianapolis Chatard (13-1), Brebeuf Jesuit (10-4), Brownstown Central (12-2), Peru (11-1) and Connersville (12-4) following.

Unbeaten Chesterton (14-0) is No. 1 in Class 4A with Fishers (14-2), Zionsville (10-3), Indianapolis Tech (15-3), Carmel (11-4), Indianapolis Cathedral (13-4), Ben Davis (12-4), Terre Haute North (16-1), Valparaiso (14-3) and Westfield (12-4) completing the top 10.
