Morristown will finish its regular-season schedule tonight with a Mid-Hoosier Conference game against visiting Edinburgh (8-8, 1-2 MHC). With a win, the Yellow Jackets (3-2 MHC) would lock in a third-place finish in the standings behind conference champ Waldron and runner-up North Decatur.

There is a full slate of events tonight at the Bee Hive around the girls/boys basketball doubleheader with Edinburgh. The girls varsity-only contest tips off at 6 p.m. in the main gym while the boys junior varsity game takes place in the old gym.

At the conclusion of the girls game, Morristown will induct former girls basketball coach Doug Carlton and former track and field standout Haley Hart into its Athletic Hall of Fame.

At halftime of the boys varsity game, there will be a Unified Champions basketball game with teams representing Morristown and Edinburgh.

There will be a canned food drive for the Morristown High School food pantry. Three cans or non-perishable items brought to the game equals 50% off ticket prices; five cans or non-perishable items brought equals free admission.

There also will be a bake sale to benefit Special Olympics of Indiana.

Morristown will then turn its attention to the postseason with a Wednesday Class A, Sectional 60 quarterfinal game against Southwestern (12-10) at Waldron.

The Spartans have won four straight entering the postseason but lost to Morristown, 38-32, on Jan. 10.
