Triton Central graduate Rylie Stephens had four rebounds in Samford’s last non-conference contest of the season.
The Bulldogs are 8-7 and have two road games next up on the schedule.
Samford is at East Tennessee State Thursday in Johnson City, Tenn., for their Southern Conference opener, and at Chattanooga Saturday afternoon.

Drake Moore
The Morristown graduate had a team-high 14 points and grabbed five rebounds and dished out two assists Saturday in Oakland City’s 80-76 loss to West Virginia University Institute of Technology.
Oakland City is 7-8 this season and 2-3 against River States Conference opponents.
Bella Larrison
The Waldron graduate finished with six points and four rebounds Saturday in Anderson’s 74-34 loss to No. 2 Transylvania.
The Ravens are 6-7 (2-4 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference).
Maya Chandler
The Triton Central graduate had four points, two rebounds and one assist Sunday for SMU in a 65-63 loss to Rice.
On Thursday, SMU defeated Florida Atlantic, 57-52, in its home conference opener. Chandler had six points and one assist in the win.
The Mustangs are 7-7 (1-2 American Athletic Conference).
Kyle Crim
The Morristown graduate had 10 points and three rebounds Saturday in Hanover’s 83-73 win at Manchester University.
The Panthers improved to 9-4 overall and 5-1 against HCAC opponents.
Taylor Heath
The Triton Central graduate scored six points, had two rebounds, six assists and one steal Saturday for Hanover in an 82-46 victory at Manchester.
The Panthers are 8-5 and still a perfect 6-0 against HCAC opponents.
Tenleigh Phelps and Lizzie Graham
The No. 21-ranked IU South Bend women’s basketball team improved to 14-0 (6-0 Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference) this season with a 102-40 victory over Calumet College of St. Joseph.
Phelps (top photo), a Triton Central graduate, scored 16 points and added six rebounds, one assist and two steals to her stat line in the win.
Graham (bottom photo), also a Triton Central graduate, had eight points, four rebounds and one assist.
Cameron Baker
The Shelbyville graduate placed third in the one-meter diving competition at the Colonel Classic, hosted by Centre College.
Baker totaled 213.95 points for Franklin College, who finished runner-up in the team standings.
